The “Fun in the Sun Fencing in San” Preparation camp is an opportunity for young fencers to gain the expertise and instruction of Olympic Bronze Medalist Maitre d’Armes Diego Confalonieri and Olympian Jason Pryor. Together the two bring decades of international competitive experience and 15 total World Championships. Also, Maitre d’Armes Diego has a wealth of successful students including gold at 2017 Junior Switzerland Championships (Elia Dagani) and a bronze medal at the recent Men’s Epee World Cup in Berne, Switzerland (Frederico Vismara). Pryor lived and trained at The Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs for five years and brings all the experiences of living and working with USOC strength coaches, nutritionists, and a variety of Olympians and Coaches from many sports. They have participated in, and coached nearly too many elite level camps to count and will bring all of this to the table in an intense week of training.
Our December camps are led by Beijing Olympics bronze medalist Maestro Diego Confalonieri, five-time World Championships team member Rio Olympian Jason Pryor and University of California San Diego Fencing Head Coach Juan Ignacio Calderon
